The Moscow Polo Academy was organized to introduce, teach and promote the sport of polo in Russia. The polo academy produces some of the most promising Russian polo.

Instruction occurs over three stages:

STAGE I: EQUESTRIAN SKILLS

Riding experience is not a necessary prerequisite, and even experienced riders may find that riding for polo is completely different than what they are used to. Our horses and instructors will make you at ease and ready to swing at speed in no time.

STAGE II: SWING TECHNIQUE

A good swing is one of the most important skills for a polo player.  Not only is it necessary part of scoring a goal, but a safe player ensures they never hit the horses. Our hitting cage and (indestructible) wooden horse are the best tools for learning the swing.

STAGE III: GAME STRATEGY

The Moscow Polo Club offers academic chukka rentals in which the academy participants get to experience the game of polo with the guidance of experienced players. The academy instructors coach each player on and off of the field, correcting mistakes as they happen and following every practice with a revision session, in which rules and strategy are discussed.
